It is not too early to start planning on attending the 2020 Philadelphia Flower Show whose theme this year is A Riviera Holiday. This show is the nation’s largest and longest running horticultural event having started in 1829. So you have an easy decision to make. And during the same time you can visit the Orchid Extravaganza at Longwood Gardens which runs this year from January 18 through March 22, 2020. Last year Gregg Griffis, the orchid grower at Longwood Gardens attended the Taiwan International Orchid Show in Taipei, Taiwan and brought back lots of new breeding and cultural techniques.
