If you are looking for a fun filled weekend learning the basics of Italian cooking look no further. Our Pennsylvania bed and breakfast cooking school on July 21, 2018 offers Mi Amore That’s Italian cooking. Our classes are geared to the casual cook who just enjoys cooking and entertaining. The menu for this class includes a Caprese salad, Aranchini with a basil pesto cream sauce, osso bucco with mushroom veloute papadelle and Venetian braised artichoke bottoms, and a wonderful dessert of panna cotta with a raspberry coulis and fresh berries. Each course will be paired with an appropriate wine.
This menu does encompass lots of good hands on work so plan on wearing comfortable clothes and shoes. All of our cooking classes begin with a welcoming reception on Friday evening with drinks and appetizers geared toward the particular class. At this reception participants will engage in making mozzarella cheese and the panna cotta. During the Saturday class risotto from scratch for the arancini, as well as making pasta and learning how to break down an artichoke will be featured. Hopefully weather will be nice enough that participants can dine al fresco on the terrace. To read about the full experience of your bed and breakfast cooking class check out our cooking school page on our web site. We limit the class to only ten people because this really is a hands on class and we still have a couple of slots left as well as a few rooms available for that weekend. So select your room here and then call us to book.
