Philadelphia Museum of Art

The Philadelphia Museum of Art, which is about 30 miles from Hamanassett, will display masterpieces by Rubens, Michelangelo, and Titian in The Wrath of the Gods exhibit.

The Wrath of the Gods, which runs through December 6, focuses on Peter Paul Rubens’s masterpiece, Prometheus Bound, along with the works from the artists who inspired it, including both Michelangelo and Titian’s Tityus.

Along with the other artists, Rubens talent shines through in The Wrath of the Gods as one of art history’s most important figures.
