Enjoy food, local brewers and vintners, live music, antique cars, Revolutionary War reenactors, children’s activities and historic tours of John Chads House at Chadds Ford Days Sept. 12-13.

As a way to commemorate the Revolutionary War Battle of the Brandywine of 1777, Chadds Ford Days was created. The battle, although it was lost, played an important role in winning the American Revolutionary War.

Chadds Ford Days, which is about seven miles from Hamanassett, runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Barn Visitors Center and admission is $10 for adults and free for children under 17. Find a full schedule of both day’s events here.
