Are you looking for something beyond the standard candy and flowers for your special person?  Of course, we have that also, along with a bottle of bubbly and the bed spread with rose petals. But if you are looking for something a cut above, we've put together the ultimate Valentine's Package.  This is something your special someone will still be talking about 50 years from now!  Imagine a room for two nights at the romantic Hamanassett Bed and Breakfast with decadent breakfasts each morning.  There will be a dozen roses in a vase to take home, a box of Swiss handmade truffles, a bottle of bubbly with etched souvenir champagne flutes to take home, and the bed will be sprinkled with silk rose petals.   This package alone is $145.00 plus tax.

After breakfast you will drive less than one mile to the Joseph Anthony Spa and Retreat, a state of the art facility for a half day of pampering for each of you. Your package at Joseph Anthony includes a Brine Light Inhalation Therapy and an Alpine Herbal Steam Therapy.  Then for the ultimate in decadence bask in the ancient Oriental ritual of Rasul.  Sequestered with your partner in an ornately tiled steam chamber, your therapist will cover you in either detoxifying medicinal mud or nourishing exotic ceams and oils.  Relax while breathing herb-infused steam and enjoy a refreshing rain shower rinse.  Complete your teatment with an application of remoisturizing cream from your threapist.  After that it is on to a Swedish Massage for both of you.  Cost of this package is $435.00 plus tax and cost of the room you select.  For more information on Joseph Anthony click here.

Attractions Tickets

We offer discounted tickets for purchase to Longwood Gardens, Winterthur, and the Brandywine River Museum; save a little money(usually $2.00 per ticket) and a lot of time by not having to stand in line.  Tickets must be paid by cash or check only.

Tee (and Tea) For Two - Edgmont Country Club

The Edgmont Country Club is a short 15 minute drive from Hamanassett Bed and Breakfast.  The course is bordered on two sides by the 2600 hundred acre Ridley Creek State Park and is a challenging Par 70 course with large undulating greens, several changes in elevation, mature trees lining the fairways and water in play on several holes.  The greens fee is $70.00 per person.  We have also arranged a tea package before or after golf (or for the members of your party who don't golf) which includes assorted tea sandwishes, assorted teas and a sweet tray for $15.00 per person. 

Enchanted Evening Package $125.00 plus 6% tax plus cost of room chosen. ($145.00 during February). It doesn't have to be a birthday or anniversary to show that special person how much you care. Our special includes: A bottle of bubbly A dozen roses in a vase to take home Box of one dozen hand made Swiss truffles Your bed strewn with silk rose petals. Two souvenir Hamanassett champagne glasses to take home. Our wonderful breakfast for two each morning We can add other items or individualize the package for you. Honeymoon/Anniversary Package $165.00 + 6% tax and cost of room chosen. Includes everything in the Enchanted Evening Package plus a heart-shaped porcelain 5" x 7" frame.  Market price applies Valentines and some holidays.

Therapeutic and Sports Massage   Enjoy a body soothing and mind calming therapeutic or sports massage in the privacy of your room (Inverness, Devon, Windsor, Cambridge only). Our massage therapist is board certified. One hour massage $90.00; two couples massages only $175.00.  Massages are not available in the Brighton or Cotswold rooms because of size of room.  Payment is by check or cash directly to the therapist.  Please give us 48 hours notice if possible.  Gratuities to your therapist at your discretion. We also have a special arrangment with Joseph Anthony Spa and Retreat (less than 1 mile from Hamanassett Bed and Breakfast. With the booking of a massage there, you will receive two complimentary treatments, an alpine herbal steam therapy treatment and the Brine Light Inhalation therapy.  For more info on Joseph Anthony Click Here

Wine Tour of Brandywine Valley $20.00 each Seven wineries. Beautiful estate vineyards in the rolling hills of Chester County, PA. Charming tasting rooms and barrel-aging cellars filled with premium wines that showcase our unique terroir. This is what you'll find along the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail. We invite you to gather some friends, and come visit for a tour, tasting, or one of the great activities they have throughout the year! With a two night stay at our Bed and Breakfast, you can purchase a Wine Trail passport from your hosts and explore seven wineries. The cost is only $20.00 per person in addition to the cost of your room and includes your passport and two souvenir wine glasses to take home. The wineries of The Brandywine Valley Wine Trail are all located within a 30 minute drive of each other and near other Brandywine Valley attractions like Longwood Gardens, Winterthur, the Brandywine River Museum, and other fine restaurants and antique shops. Make a weekend of it or save your passport and come back to visit us. Your passport is good for a year from date purchased. Please note that most wineries are open on weekends only. If you do not wish to visit all seven wineries, Hamanassett has made special arrangements with VaLa Winery for complimentary wine tastings for our guests.(Click for more information )  Please ask us about this.

Say It With Roses $65.00 - You can surprise that special someone with a vase filled with a dozen long stemmed red roses and gift card. You tell us what to write. Other colors may be available. Take the roses and vase home when you leave Hamanassett.  Please give us 48 hours notice. (Market price applies during Valentine's). Seasonal Mixed Bouquet $45.00 - Let us make a lovely arrangement of mixed flowers to dress up your room upon arrival and then take it and the vase home with you. We'll include a card; tell us what to write. Silk Rose Petals with one perfect wooden rose $20.00 We will turn down your bed either before you arrive or while you are at dinner and sprinkle it with silk rose petals and place one perfect lifelike red wooden rose on the pillow.  Take the rose home and put in a bud vase for a beautiful remembrance of your stay at Hamanassett.

The Manly Man Can (Naked Man sold out) $45.00 + 6% tax each - Finally, a package for the ladies to surprise your special man with.  This is a package of wholesome body products and includes the following:  8 oz. full size Purely Naked Organic body wash, 8 oz. full size Purely Naked Organic lotion, 6 oz. full size Purely Naked Organic Bar Soap, Pure white bath poof.  All products are unscented & fragrance free and come packed in a new manly paint can.  *Use with caution:  this can makes any man purely naked in no time!  **Same items as the Naked Man but has a black manly bath poof.  Be careful; this product mankes any man a MANLY MAN!

Babymoon Package $60.00 - For the mother to be, this package includes a baby bottle with a lovely white hand crocheted cover, a red and white onesie, a bottle of sparkling cider and two souvenir Hamanassett champagne glasses. Combine the Babymoon and Pamper Me Package for only $95.00. Add an hour massage to above for only $90.00 additional.

Swiss Chocolate Truffles and a bottle of champagne $45.00 - These renowned Swiss premium Truffles are hand made by a Swiss chocolatier right in Chester County. The truffles are made from 100% Swiss Chocolate shells filled with a variety of creamy mousses made from dairy-fresh butter and cream. The delicious truffles are presented in elegant purple moire boxes. 1/4 # box includes 12 mouth watering truffles such as champagne, raspberry, hazelnuts, banana, white chocolate and mint.
