This historic house, built in 1856, with later additions by renowned architect Charles Barton Keen in 1896, is situated near woodlands, gardens, and hiking trails. Located in the Brandywine Valley, it is quietly tucked away among flowers and towering trees, yet is only minutes from all the Brandywine Valley attractions (Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine River Museum, Winterthur, Nemours, Hagley and Brandywine ValleyWineries), Valley Forge, downtown Philadelphia, major universities, and the Philadelphia airport. If you like bird watching we are only 20 minutes from the Heinz National Wildlife Refuge. Also nearby is Ridley Creek State Park, Tyler Arboretum, and Scott Arboretum.
